Pastoral Area

We promote a close and meaningful spirituality that accompanies our students in their personal growth and strengthens their sense of purpose.

At Champagnat, the Pastoral Area is the spiritual heart of the School. Inspired by Saint Marcellin Champagnat, we guide our students in developing their inner life, living with purpose, and growing in a spirit of service and community.

Here, faith is lived with joy and simplicity as an experience that accompanies, supports, and gives meaning to each student’s growth.

How Is Spirituality Lived at Champagnat?

  • Marist spirituality lived in community
  • Development of interiority from the earliest years
  • Solidarity and service as part of everyday life

Experiences that shape and leave a lasting impact

Throughout the year, students participate in meaningful experiences that strengthen their faith, values, and sense of community.

  • Daily prayer and liturgical celebrations
  • Formation days and spiritual retreats
  • Catechesis and sacramental preparation

In addition, students benefit from the close guidance of our chaplain and the Marist Brothers, who accompany and strengthen their spiritual growth.

Interiority: learning to know themselves and grow within

Interiority is the space where students learn to recognize their emotions, strengthen their values, and find meaning in their experiences.

Cultivating this from an early age is essential to forming conscious, balanced, and purpose-driven individuals.

From the age of 3, through brief moments integrated into the school day, students develop the ability to:

  • Recognize and express what they feel.
  • Develop calmness, gratitude, and awareness.
  • Strengthen their spiritual dimension.
  • Live with greater depth and purpose.

Solidarity in action

At Champagnat, we educate socially aware and committed students who learn to put their values into practice through service.

Through grade-level solidarity projects, students develop empathy, leadership, and an active attitude toward the needs of their communities.

From an early age, they participate in campaigns, visits, and service experiences that connect them with different realities and inspire meaningful action.

Youth groups: growing and sharing in community

In Primary and Secondary School, we offer spaces outside school hours where students strengthen leadership, build meaningful relationships, and experience community through faith and service.

GAMA (Grade 5 to Grade 8) A space to build friendships, share faith, and live Marist spirituality in community.

MARCHA (Grades 9–11) A journey of personal growth where students strengthen leadership, discover their vocation, and engage in service experiences that leave a lasting impact.

Family pastoral care: faith that unites home and school

At Champagnat, we accompany families so that faith is also lived at home, strengthening their role in the education of their children.

Through gatherings, retreats, and celebrations, we create spaces for reflection, community, and shared growth.

Because we believe education is built together: families and school walking hand in hand.
